The point of this day is to help raise awareness and find a cure for the deadly, ugly, horrible, life changing (but beatable) disease that is cancer. I know that so many of us are impacted by cancer on many different levels and I also know the strength that is found in the community of survivors and loved ones who fight for them. I am starting a LiveSTRONG Day event here in the area and I would ask for all of you to help show your support. Best of all its FREE and simple to take part. All you have to do is wear yellow on Friday. See...told ya it was going to be simple! Why am I doing this? A little over a month ago my mom was diagnosed with breast cancer. I am holding this event in honor of her, and the countless others that have to face this disease everyday. So, if you hate cancer as much as I do show you are taking a stand against cancer and wear yellow on Friday Oct. 2 2009 for LiveSTRONG day! Please spread the word and get your friends and co-workers in on it too!
