My Family Member, My Grandpa Hal, inspires me to fight cancer.

He never gave up. He kept fighting as best he could through nutrition, lifestyle, and medicine, and even when the cancer came back, he still didn't lose hope. Eventually the disease took him, but I still never felt like the disease *won*. Grandpa won. We had him longer than they said we would have, and that was a great gift. He never got to see me get married, or to see my children, but I know he's up there watching and loving me, and my family. And I know that fighting cancer and supporting causes like this was important to him, and I'm proud to join this foundation's fight.
